Diaconate ordination starts the year

2010 got off to a good start with the ordination of a deacon - Brother Timothy Aihora of the Dominicans - as a deacon. Sadly, Bishop Cherubim, seen here praying the Prayer of Ordination, passed from this life later in the year. Our new deacon is currently undertaking pastoral training at St Joseph's, Boroko.

What significant event marked the beginning of 2010 for the Dominicans, and who was ordained as a deacon during that time? Unfortunately, the same year witnessed the passing of Bishop Cherubim. Can you provide more information about Bishop Cherubim and the impact of his passing on the community? Additionally, what current responsibilities and training is the new deacon, Brother Timothy Aihora, undertaking at St Joseph's, Boroko?
